Charley Snyder serves as senior policy advisor in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, U.S. Department of Defense, where he develops policies, strategies, and plans to guide the Department’s information security and warfare efforts. Charley has served in multiple positions at the Department, including working for the first Principal Cyber Advisor to the Secretary of Defense, and serving as the Department’s principal liaison to Congress for all cyber issues. Prior to joining the Executive Branch, Charley worked on Capitol Hill, where he conducted oversight and developed legislation for information security and counterterrorism issues for a congressional committee. He holds degrees from Cornell and Georgetown.
